Wow, what a pleasure it is to read a book where all ages doesn't mean that it's dumb enough for anyone to understand or so bland that nobody could possibly care about it.
Jimmy Gownley manages to capture the best aspects of Saturday morning cartoons between the covers of this great new all ages title, "AMELIA RULES!", a book that in my opinion could very well be the "PEANUTS" of this era! Kids will easily relate to and parents will certainly "remember" many of the antics of these wonderful characters.
Issue one revolves around Amelia acclimating herself to a new town, school and social circle and the attendant problems that these bring to her nine year old life.
The book is full color and the cover below IS indicative of what you'll find inside. Check back for reviews from my 12 year old daughter and 8 year old son.
