In my not so humble opinion CrossGen is the model that all comic publishers should measure themselves against. This upstart company spent well over a year establishing their CrossGen Universe and assembling some of the industry's most respected talent to bring it to life before publishing their inaugural title.
Founded by long time fan Mark Alessi (President/CEO) and cousin Gina Villa (Vice President/COO) who introduced Mark to comics, CrossGen has succeeded in luring major veteran editorial talent James Breitbeil and Ian Feller and creative talent such as Mark Waid, Barbara Kesel, Ron Marz. Bart Sears, George Perez and Brandon Peterson as well as some incredible newcomers .
Their love of comics is apparent and they are tenacious in their efforts to raise the bar on everything they do. They have my respect and after taking a look, I think they'll have yours too.
Above and to the right you see Jack Huggins (above) and Mike Russell (right), very happy winners of signed one-of-a-kind posters provided by CrossGen.
